Merry Christmas everyone!
Here is a picture of Gaku's presents from me! Our own custom bobbleheads! I think they are perfect. o(^.^)o
I bought a matching set for my parents also, so that it feels like we're always at their home too. :-P
Today is the Emperor's 75th birthday, so it was a holiday!
Gaku took me to see a Pinocchio play for my Christmas present, it was exciting!
I love watching plays. (But Gaku slept through half of the play.) :-P
Then we baked a little chicken for our early Christmas dinner! Oishikatta! o(^_^)o
I finally painted my Little Charo statue! He's adorable, SUKI DESU! o(^.^)o
.
Sarah showed me a picture from a news site and I found a big problem. The news website said that we can see Mt.Fuji at Kugenuma in Fujisawa city Kanagawa prefecture.
It's too big. We can't see Mt.Fuji from Fujisawa city. If you are Japanese, you notice this picture is fake at once.
I think that it is a problem that a news site uses a fake picture like this. What do you think?
My parents sent me a package with home-made Hershey Kiss Peanut-Butter Cookies and Cinnamon Pop-Tarts on the 5th, and I finally received it today!
The box looked horrible though!
The cookie tin wasn't smashed, but the cookies look like they've been through a tornado. :-P
There was a note on the front from the post office that said that the box had gotten wet, but luckily the inside was okay (except for my smashed cookie crumbles.) :-P
The taste is still excellent though!
We'll have to try the Pop-Tarts in the morning. :-D
December 12th is our first year anniversary! Sugoi ne!
Gaku took the day off from work, and we went to Immigrations to get my Visa renewed.
Then for lunch we had Cinnamon Melts from McDonald's, and then Gaku took me to a Pizza Hut in Japan!
That is true love. :-P
It tasted just as thick and greasy as America, I loved it! :-D
Too bad there isn't a Pizza Hut closer to us.. :-P
.
Then we came back here and went to the city government building with 2 little photos of me to have put on a new Alien Registration Card.
But!
There was a big dilemma!
I had worn a headband in my picture! x_x
God forbid.
The card states "No hats." I didn't know a headband qualified as a hat and obscured the view of my face, but maybe it's just me. :-P
So we wasted our $7 on the morning pictures, and had to go get 2 more pictures WITHOUT the headband.
So luckily there was a photobooth at the building, so we spent 6 more dollars, and everything is all submitted now.
(They just like us to waste our money.) (-_-)
.
But we had a fun day! We don't have any plans for the weekend, so it'll be nice to relax. :-)
.
I want to introduce the manner posters that are in the subways because the topic heated up on some news' blogs.
Some people said "The English is wrong" or "Japanese passengers have the bad manners, so why write in English?"
I read many opinions about the posters. But are these posters funny and interesting? What do you think?
