I finished my Chucky sculpture! I think he turned out great!
To celebrate, we rented Child's Play and watched it at nighttime with candles lit. Spooky!
On Saturday night, Gaku was moving the TV on the table, and I heard a clunk noise. I looked over and Chucky's body was laying there on the table with his head broke off! I flipped out, but I decided to bake him right then, so I could glue it in the morning. I also noticed his thumb was broke off too.. :-O
So I used a strong glue to fix him on Sunday, and it seemed to work good. I started sanding him a little this morning, and then the head broke off including the neck this time!! So I glued that together, and then both feet fell off!!
That is absolutely the WORST clay. I'll have to find some different clay to use next time!
Hopefully I can start working on him again tomorrow!
I started working on a new statue, Chucky from Child's Play. I did the head on Tuesday, and the body on Wednesday, but the body sure was hard! We'll wait at least a few days for the clay to dry good, and then I can bake it, and paint it!
倒産してしもうた！
先月あたりから、うちの会社は、「リーチ」でしたが、ついに、7月10日、役満を振り込んでしまいました。
10日に、一斉に債権者にその旨、手紙を出し、書類をシュレッダー処理業者に依頼し、パソコンのデータをすべて消し、ポストにガムテープを貼り、電源を落して、社員全員、退去です。独身の頃は、無職になれば、天にも昇るような気持ちで、魔都バンコクに飛び立ったものですが、さすがに、結婚している今は、そういうわけにはいきません。新婚旅行で、プーケットに行って、嘔吐を繰り返したサラは、「２度とタイには行かない。」と言ってますし、インドなんてとてもとても。。。もっとも、結婚生活も旅みたいなもんですから。
今回は、すぐに再就職せず、簿記1級の勉強でもしてみようかなと思っています。昨年、簿記2級はとりあえず取ってみたのですが、2級じゃ再就職先にアピールする上で、いまいちパンチが弱いんですよね。。。経理の経験って言っても、3年弱でしょ。やっぱり1級はとっておきたいと思いまして挑戦しようかと思いました。サラも、「いいよ。」って言ってくれているので。。。ただ、認めてくれる理由が、私が毎日家いるからっていうのが、微妙なんだけど。。。毎日家にいるって言っても、働かないで、家にいるわけだから。引きこもりじゃあるまいし。
それに、サラが、誰かとの話の中で
「ダンナさん何されているんですか？」
とか聞かれて、
「ボキかポッキーか詳しくは知りませんけど家で毎日勉強しています。」
とか言われるのが何かやだなぁ。。。と。まあ、決心したんで、試験が11月なんで、約5ヶ月無職です。。。無職のダンナによくついてきてくれると思うと感謝感謝です。これで落ちたら、泣くに泣けないし、理解してくれている人のためにも がんばろ。Yes,We Can!

My company has gone BANKRUPT!
My company's financial situation was "UNO!" since last month. Either win or lose.Unfortunately, it was LOST on 10/July. We sent bankrupt announcement letters to all creditors, asked shredder company to shred documents, delete computer data, put tape on the postbox, turned off power and all of the staff left.
When I was single, I used to travel to the mysterious capital -Bangkok- with a feeling like heaven after I quit a job.
But now I can't do that after I got married. After Sarah got really sick and threw up again and again when we went to Phuket for our honeymoon, she said "I don't want to travel to Thailand any more." So...India ? Impossible. But I think marriage life is like traveling.
So I want to study the exam of bookkeeping grade No.1 before finding another job immediately at this time.
Even though I passed the exam of bookkeeping grade No.2 last year, I think that I can't appeal the grade No.2 to a new company very much.
And my accounting background is less than 3 years. So I want to try grade No.1. And Sarah said "OK." because I stay in our house everyday. Ummm... I think it becomes complicated because I stay in the house without a job like a little kid. And I worry that when Sarah talks with somebody, they ask her, "What does your husband do ?"
And she answers "he studies bookkeeping but he studies in our house everyday."
But I made up my mind. The exam is in November. I don't have a job for about 5 months. I appreciate that she follows me without a job.
I must do my best for her.

Today was Gaku's 35th birthday! o(^_^)o
He came home a little early from work, and he blew out the candles from the brownies, and opened his presents from me! The frog statue has our last name on it, and we put it outside the door. \(^_^)/
Then we went to Jonathan's Restaurant for dinner, and came home and had some brownies. Oishikatta!

We bought a tomato plant the other day and bought a pot and some dirt. Tomatoes are a little expensive over here, so we thought we'd save some money! Hopefully it grows good!
