We haven't been up to too much lately. (^_^;
We found some new ice-cream at the store that was shaped like Dinosaur Eggs, so Gaku wanted to try it. I thought it looked kind of funny. :-P
Today we're going to pack our lunch and eat it at a river nearby, so that will be fun! :-D
平日、近くの清水公園に行ってきました。仕事を始めたらこんなにのんびりできないだろうな。と思いつつ、がらがらの公園を散歩してきました。
We went to Shimizu Park near our house on a weekday. I thought that I wouldn't be able to take time to relax when I start working again. So we took a walk through the empty park today.

この灼熱の町ラージギルで、予期せぬ光景に出くわしました。ソフトボール大のたんぽぽような綿毛が熱風とともに雪のように吹き荒れたのです。あの綿毛って何だったんだろう。とずっと思ってきたのですが、つい最近、その正体が分かりました。カポックという名の木の種だったようです。これで一安心。

I have wondered what the name of the cotton-balls were for a long time. Recently, I found it at long last.
It seems that the cotton are seeds from a tree called "Kapok".

When we were at the dollar store, we bought a frog soap dispenser. Isn't it cute? o(^_^)o
We were at a dollar store today, so I thought we'd spice up the apartment with some autumn decorations. And they match great with the Totoro clock too! =(^o^)=
Well it's already September! I put out the new leaf windsock from my parents. \(^o^)/
