夫婦で東京理科大学の吹奏学部の演奏会を見に行ってきました。
無料だし、あまり期待していなかかったのですが、思った以上の迫力にびっくりしました。

We went to a concert of the band club from Tokyo University of Science.
Since it was free, I didn't expect much, but I was surprised because it was a more powerful performance than I thought it would be.

第二回結婚記念日; 2nd Anniversary!!

１２月１２日は、私たちの結婚記念日です。
ピザハットが大好きなサラのために、私たちの小さな町から注文できないピザハットを買いに出かけました。
そしてついでにボーリングをして疲れ果てて、帰ってきました。
ここ最近、私に「見るな見るな」と言い続けて隠し作っていたパンダの置物をサラから頂きました。
これからもよろしくお願いします。

12/Dec is our wedding anniversary.
We went out to buy Pizza Hut pizza because we cannot order it from our small town for Sarah who loves Pizza Hut.
And we enjoyed bowling and then came home exhausted.
I received her handmade panda statue that she had been saying "No Peeking" while working on it these days.
Thank you for the cute present.
I always hope to get along with each other. :-)

We had a fun 2nd Anniversary!!
At bowling, Gaku got a 98 & 73, and I had a 119 & 144. It was fun!!
We ordered the pizza (half cheese/half cheese with squid) (-_-), and ate it at a park nearby, it was delicious! Although one piece looked like it didn't have any cheese? But I enjoyed it. :-D
We relaxed for awhile, and then went to McDonald's, and I had Cinnamon Melts and Gaku had a McChicken Burger.
Gaku bought me some little roses, they look cute!
We had a fun Anniversary, thanks Gaku-chan!!

Scarf Prize!; スカーフがあたりました！

Sometimes I order clothes from a company called Image, and I've been entering the contest to win an item every month for about a year now.
Well the other day, an Image box came, and I won a pink scarf that was from last month's contest!! Isn't that great!

昨日、おいしそうな北海道のイカ丼を紹介する番組がありました。
We watched a TV program that talked about Hokkaido's bowl of rice topped with an alive squid yesterday.
Mom, you have to try it when you come to Japan :-P

We bought a little vanilla cake roll at the store for my birthday, it was DELICIOUS!! o(^.^)o
二人だけの小さな誕生日パーティを開きました。そういえば、愛子様の同じ誕生日なんですね。サラ様。
The two of us had a small birthday party today. Anyway, Princess Aiko's (Emperor's grand-daughter) birthday is today,too. Same as Princess Sarah. :-p

Sarah's 22nd Birthday!

Today is my 22nd birthday!! o(^_^)o
In the morning, we played some games of Bingo over Skype with my parents, we had fun!
Afterward, we went to Shimizu Park nearby, and took some nice pictures. :-)

Christmas Tree & Windsock/Birthday Card

Today we put up the Christmas Tree Windsock outside and decorated our little Christmas tree inside.
I plugged in the fiber-optic Snowman, it's our Christmas present from my parents. \(^o^)/
I also got a birthday card from my parents, filled with confetti, that fell all over the couch and floor. :-P Thanks you two!! :-D

カモられました; Ripped Off

ブックオフで、英語の本を1000円で買ってきて、アマゾンで同じ本をチェックして見てみたら、1円で売られていた。
I bought an English learning book for about $10 at a used book store, and then after, I checked the price on Amazon, and I noticed that it is sold for 1 cent.　I was ripped-off!!

Poor Gaku-chan. (T_T) The first English book he bought there had come with an opera CD by mistake, then the second one had a scratched CD, then he found out the books are all over-priced anyways. :-P

簿記1級; Bookkeeping Grade 1

討ち死にして来ました。
小さな町なので、簿記の１級の会場には、私を合わせて10人しかいませんでした。
サラには、幸運を呼ぶという、ブタとゾウの消しゴムを持たされて挑みました。
前半の商業簿記の問題を見た瞬間、「あっムリだ」と思ってやってみたら、やっぱりムリでした。
後半の工業簿記は、輪をかけて悲惨な状態でした。
寝よう。寝よう。

I failed the examination definitely.
My town is very small, so there were only ten people taking the test, including me, in the exam room.
Sarah made me take Buta and Zou-chan (the pig and elephant) to bring good luck.
But as soon as I saw the first part of the exam, I knew that I failed. And then the second part was much worse.
Okay, I'll sleep now. (^_^;
